CHANEL Classic Flap CF Chain-Strap Leather Shoulder Bag, Medium Size, Beige

A vintage Classic Double Flap shoulder bag from Chanel rendered in diamond quilting lambskin leather with complimenting beige shoulder straps and the iconic interlocking 'CC' turnlock. Few bags can claim that they have grown in popularity (and value) since 1955 - and the Classic Flap is one of them. Originally launched as the 2.55, the bag featured a rectangular turnlock closure and a long chain strap, as Coco Chanel was tired of carrying her purse in her hands. Thanks to the creative genius of Karl Lagerfeld, the bag was updated to the Classic Flap we know, love, and recognize and featured the new logo 'CC' closure instead.
